To raise money for environmental awareness, 12 year old Liam Bronaugh, organized a walk and asked family and neighbors to pledge money for every mile. As someone concerned about climate change and clean waterways, Liam, a student at Old Donation School, decided to donate each dollar to Lynnhaven River NOW. “I was able to walk 50 miles and raise $750,” Liam said, “but most importantly, I reached over 25 people and got them and their families thinking about the environment. If every twelve-year old on our planet did that, we would see major differences.”
